It is coming to the final countdown of days to leave for France, and I realize that I already do a poor job at keeping up on this blog. I will attempt to make somewhat of an effort while in France so that my friends and family can keep up with my busy lifestyle while I'm there!
For starters, I'm extremely nervous...mostly about my sleeping arrangements. Who else finds it somewhat concerting that I will have no knowledge of the bed I will be sleeping on until I get there? What if it's not up to my standards? Honestly, that is the only thing I worry about (that, and running out of money because I buy too much food). But here I go. Dad is coming with me to start the journey out so I can get my living arrangements paid for, and so that I can pack the kitchen sink and get away with it :D
Within the next two weeks, I have several grad schools applications to put in, the GRE to register for, packing, and a scholarship to apply for. Let's see if I can get motivated enough to finish all of that before I get on a plane for the 12 hour trip.
I lose concentration easily, so that is about all you're going to get for today! Wish me luck, not on traveling to a foreign country, but on keeping up with this blog so that my friends and family haven't thought that I've run away ;)
